Standing Building Services, found at https://www.standingbuilding.co.uk uses the following privacy policy to govern how we collect and use data.
We are dedicated to protecting your privacy and rest assured any information we collect which could be used for identification purposes will be used only in accordance with this policy.
What personal data we collect and why we collect it
Contact forms
When you use the contact form you are required to fill in your name and email address. We will also collect your IP address and browser agent to help in spam detection. This data will only be used to respond to your query. If your query requires no response, your data will be deleted within 1 month. We will not use this data to send marketing emails.
Cookies
This website uses cookies to store visitor’s preferences.
If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

Analytics
This site uses Jetpack to track data on sessions, page views, referring websites, bounce rate, general geographical information and user demographics. Jetpack may capture your IP address, but no other personal information is captured.
Who we share your data with
Standing Building Services is dedicated to safeguarding your personal information. By default we do not share, sell, rent or trade your personal data with anyone. However, these authorised third party applications or providers may use certain data to provide functions on our behalf.

WordPress – This is a self-hosted WordPress site. We mainly use third party applications to collect data. However, WordPress do collect the data you put into the comment form; your name, email address and website, if entered. DreamHost – DreamHost is our website and email provider. They host the site and database including access details for monitoring and reporting purposes. Read their privacy policy here: https://www.dreamhost.com/legal/privacy-policy/
Cloudflare – Cloudflare is a web performance and security provider. They collect IP addresses to help prevent attacks to a website and improve site performance. Read their privacy policy here: https://www.cloudflare.com/security-policy/
How long we retain your data
For contact form queries, we only keep your personal information if a response is required. If no response is required, we delete your information within 1 month. If your email does require a response, your personal information will be kept for 1 month and then deleted.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data
You have the right to access, the right to be forgotten and the right to data portability of the data that we personally hold on you.

Where we send your data
This site is hosted in the US by DreamHost who will obey the laws and regulations of the state of California.
Cloudflare will hold multiple copies of the site within their data centres to facilitate their role as a content delivery network.
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.

How we protect your data
This site uses two factor authentication for administrators to log in and we work hard to protect all data which could be used to identify you. Unfortunately, no data transmission can be 100% secure. Whilst we employ precautions to ensure the security of your information and work hard to ensure third parties we use do the same, we are not responsible for the actions of third parties.
If there are any data breaches on our site, we will immediately notify you.
Children’s Information
We do now knowingly collect or store any identifiable information of minors under 16 years of age.
If you as a parent think we may have any information regarding your child, please contact jamie@standingbuilding.co.uk immediately.
